Private Residence, Reggio Calabria

In this interior project, the shades of green alternate to decorate the spaces of an apartment with an eclectic style that opens towards a privileged view of the Ionian Sea. The residence reflects the history of the owners.

Originally from Reggio Calabria but settled in Rome, the house becomes a family retreat to enjoy days on the Calabrian coast away from the chaos of the capital.
The theme of travel and nature permeates the spaces, closely linked to the passions and profession of the owners that work in the navigation area.

In the living room, beyond the armchairs on the Rendezvous Tokyo Blue carpet by Moooi inspired by oriental art and denim textures, the paper panels by Londonart Wallpaper act as a visual trick to hide two doors. Inside the boiserie, the mirrored fireplace was custom made to reflect light and give warmth to the environment. The pendant lamp by Barovier&Toso in Murano blown glass marks the column.

The dining table and the Edra chairs take center stage, illuminated by the Masiero pendant lamp and the Italamp smoked glass lamps.
On the La Maison Pierre Frey curtains, vases adorned with embroidered flowers and mythical animals recall the East.

The green color returns to the bedroom too on walls and furnishings, including the custom made bed created by Loto Ad Project. The two vintage glass leaf wall lights frame the bed, while the Babylon panels by Arte recall Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilization.

From the large terrace, bordered by the Mutina rod ceramic parapet, the view extends as far as Etna and the Sicilian land, recalled by the moors that decorate the Inchiostro Bianco outdoor paper and by the majolica floor. The upholstered furniture custom made by the Roman studio is inspired by nautical furnishings. The Sottobosco table and chairs in aluminum and steel are by the artist Andrea Salvetti.
